EV Charger Installation

Level 2 EV Charger Installation

For most residential and many commercial applications, Level 2 EV chargers are the optimal choice. These chargers utilize a 240-volt circuit, similar to an electric clothes dryer or oven, and can significantly reduce charging times compared to standard Level 1 (120-volt) outlets. We handle the entire installation process, including:

Electrical Panel Assessment: Our certified electricians will evaluate your existing electrical panel to ensure it has the capacity to support the additional load of an EV charger. If an upgrade is necessary, we can seamlessly integrate that into the project.

Dedicated Circuit Installation: A dedicated 240-volt circuit is essential for safe and efficient Level 2 charging. We will run the appropriate wiring from your electrical panel to the desired charger location, ensuring all National Electrical Code (NEC) standards are met.

Charger Mounting and Wiring: We will securely mount your chosen EV charger unit and expertly wire it into your electrical system, performing all necessary connections and testing to confirm proper functionality.

Permitting and Inspections: Navigating local electrical codes and permitting requirements can be complex. Wolff Electrical Services will assist with obtaining the necessary permits and ensure the installation passes all required inspections, giving you peace of mind.
